Woah so many things seemed to have happened in the past 48 hours!!! So tired now, but im afraid i'll forget what i wanted to blog about so here i am!
(i actually fell asleep here after typing the first line.... knocked out on the bed -.-".... continued typing after my ct)
Saturday morning paper was late by 30 minutes for a 60 minute paper? Managed to finish in time, mainly because of the last question "Whats the difference between intranet and extranet?[10m]" which i wrote 2 lines only.... Rah, 20% donated away.
After school cabbed home, was pretty tired, but then just as i was about to sleep... Grace called and said we're studying later. Omg i totally forgotten actually hahaha but i just said oh,yeah, what time we meeting =X So i only was allowed a 30 min nap then i left for united sq's starbucks to study! Oh well, place was comfy, with sofa seats and a good waterfall view haha..... Hot chocolate was nice! And the oreo of the oreo cheesecake was nice lol :p Studying was fruitful for me but not Grace i suppose!
Then went down to service after that and was... one minute early :) And the sermon was oh-so-good....
Then there was animated clip at the end! The part when jesus washed the feet of everybody who walked up the hill..... reminded me of Alvin my ex-shepherd(who smsed me like 10 minutes after it? so coincidental) when he washed the coreteam's feet during caregroup last time... Everything felt so real then, when it happened... The entire process was like replayed in my mind, so personal... Perhaps there were things that i didn't totally agree with him in the past, but he's done his best as a shepherd and led an exemplary lifestyle himself for me to follow. Characteristics, humility, love, desire, trust, respect, etc etc etc, he's shown it all.
Oh and the part when Jesus personally received the person next in the row, calling each and everyone, by NAME, not nickname,... Felt so nice if you'd put yourself in the person's shoe!
Did nothing after service, waited for Ze Jun at first, then Stephen, then took train home together! Haha, talked quite a bit with Stephen, alot to catchup with my SB man! At home, packed my bag, packed ALOT of stuff, then cabbed to my auntie's place at simei.... Ah, was so bored there, and webmessenger was giving me alot of problems, but Stephen called!
Really thank God for putting him there, reminded me of many things, and was really encouraging! I was sad about cg standards days ago, all that "fun", about the plastic's and was about to come to this conclusion- This is tertiary cg's standard, this is their culture, this is what the people are like, cant be helped, no point comparing to the past and making myself unhappy, just take what's offered, do what their doing and perhaps, be more joyful? NO WAY, that's what i'll say now. Dont compared with youth standards, compare it with God's standard... Compromising is not a solution, i'll be deceiving myself. But still... i've no clue where to start..... i guess i'll start with myself, my spiritual life. Get things right. Talk talk talk about alot of other stuff.. unknowingly became 3+ and the entire house was like so quiet and dark, so went to sleep.
Woke up at 6 from the noise everybody was making over the groom's dressing and hair... Got up to help do the hair since the girls are -.-" Completely clueless. They kept adding wax and water and his hair was like totally wet and they kept saying "Cannot stand leh, will keep dropping!". Time was like running out so i asked for a hair drier and dried his hair and showed them how it's supposed to be done lol...
Then waited for awhile, people started coming in... got changed (kewl i seriously dropped inches on my waist, cause the pants i could wear properly during my O lvl DEC holidays, is now too big... ). Opened the car door, a very very very difficult thing to do.... then ate.... witnessed tea ceremony and all...
Went over to my cousins'(Jean and Joan) place to study for awhile then after much debate on what to do, we went to watch Shrek 3 at Lido, Lido 1, biggest digital cinema in singapore! Ah, then went to Holiday Inn Atrium for the actual wedding ceremony. Food was great, service too, but the speakers beside the table was a little too loud for my ears... I suppose i had a drink too much, the red wine was good, and they kept pouring so i kept drinking.... But i was sober and aware that my face was red all along! Lol, could feel my face's heat, but i just kept drinking, pretty bored cause my table people doesn't talk much.
Rah, went home, started typing this post but then accidentally fall asleep halfway on the bed -.-" Woke up JUST IN TIME to get change and leave for my exam paper, heng sia! No alarm clock, i just naturally woke up in time... MIEC paper was pretty easy, calculator bring for nothing... studied a little too much for nothing..... hope to get an Ace!
And ah, here comes my KFC delivery... sudden craving for KFC lol.... cya people!
